GRIDS

For any building more elaborate than a simple extension, it is essential to plan and lay out the work to a grid system. This especially so if the work extends to more than one level.   This is an absolute “must.”  The grid becomes the basis for planning at the design stage and on site, the basis for setting out the work.  With a proper grid, errors are less likely to accumulate from one end of the building to the other and from floor to floor.
